Dear Resident Name,

Hawthorn Crescent (475-545) - update on planned building safety works

We are writing to provide you a short update on the planned works at your block and provide assurance works are progressing and still planned to be on site in the Autumn.

We have completed most of the required investigations. If you have not already had an asbestos survey, Lawtech Group Ltd, will be in contact with you to arrange this, and we would appreciate your help in making sure that these can be completed as soon as possible. The survey requires access to every room but is not intrusive and should only last around 60 minutes.

Portsmouth Homes and Lawtech Group Ltd are in the process of developing the final designs based on our site findings to date. We hope to be able to finalise these by early Summer.

We will be sending details soon about another event in July, where we will provide an update, and you can vote on choices for various decorations and finishes to your properties, and communal areas.

We continue to work closely with you to understand what this temporary move will mean for you, and we recognise the worry it may bring. Our aim is to support you throughout and reduce any disruption as much as possible, so the essential works can be completed and your homes improved to meet the new Building and Fire Safety regulations.
