Update your information on the electoral register

Every household has been sent a Household Enquiry Form which has been sent to collect information about who should be included on the electoral register.

When you receive the form, you should check the information pre-printed on the form and follow the instructions below, which explain what you need to do.

Who should be included on the form?

The form should be completed to include the names of all residents who are eligible to register to vote.

Residents should be added if they are:

  • 16 or over

  • Living at the address (include anyone temporarily away - for example, away working, on holiday or at university)

If there are no changes to the details on the form

If you have no changes to make to the details pre-printed on the form, you can let us know online at www.householdresponse.com/portsmouth.

You will need the security codes that are printed on the form.

Every property must provide the information required, even if nothing has changed.

Registering to vote can also help improve your credit rating.
