Salary - Grade D, £20,830 - £23,411 (dependent upon experience, plus performance related bonus)

Contract/Hours - Full time: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
The Community and Studio Manager will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of our community facilities, managing, planning, monitoring and controlling all aspects of community use of the school. The key aim of this role is to provide hirers and users of our facilities with a consistently good experience by achieving and maintaining excellent standards of customer service, organisation, safety and hospitality. This will also include the support of school events using these facilities.
Our key asset is The Studio@TPS theatre and this position would also suit someone with stage management experience. Some basic technical experience and knowledge in lighting, sound and IT (including booking and ticketing systems) is desirable. This role provides a high degree of autonomy, flexible working and freedom to further enhance our community offer.
Key responsibilities include:
Day-to-day operations of our community facilities including booking, payments, developing links with the community and working with all hirers and users of the school to maximise usage and revenue.
Explore avenues to raise the profitability of the facilities and develop new revenue streams.
Leading, managing and developing a small team of casual staff and student Prefects.
Working closely with the school’s Site Team in order to provide high levels of customer service for all hirers/users, including acting as a point of contact for any queries or problems they have
Co-ordinating maintenance of the school’s facilities – proactively and reactively ensuring that maintenance issues are resolved in a timely manner and that a programme of maintenance is implemented
Be the main point of contact for any client issues or queries, ensuring that they are dealt with in a professional manner
Develop the communications and marketing of the school’s facilities, including via social media, and seeking potential additional funding sources
Provide monthly reporting to the Area Business Manager (South) on expenditure/income and reporting annually to the Local Governing Body
Procedures – to be responsible for implementing and upholding all Health & Safety and Fire Safety procedures
Experience of stage management and licensing desirable.

Majority of working week will be in office hours but some evening and weekend work may be required.
