We are replacing our current Oracle E-Business Suite system, which is provided on-premise, with a new ERP Cloud based Software as a Service solution.

The ERP Replacement project is a very high profile project which will deliver one of the Council's most critical systems, covering everything from "hire to retire" and from "purchase to pay".  It is focused on delivering business process change and achieving efficiencies through adopting new ways of working.

Your New Role

We are looking for an innovative project manager who has proven, multi-project experience obtained over a number of years and ideally experience of an ERP and a cloud based solution.

You will be joining us at an exciting time; the system software has been chosen, Oracle Fusion, as has the Implementation Partner and the Readiness and Planning phase is scheduled to start on the 18th November 2019.

Reporting to the ERP Replacement Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for co-ordinating, managing, owning and delivering project work packages of varying sizes and complexity within the ERP Replacement programme to the agreed time, quality and budget. A Project Manager is required to co-ordinate and manage the IT specific resources engaged in delivering to the project and to own and deliver the related Data Archive solution.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience of data migration and third party relationship management along with planning, implementation, testing and release of significant system upgrades, replacement or significant technology changes, all coordinated with operational change management across an organisation.

Be able to deliver  IT projects using PRINCE 2 or similar project management methodology with PRINCE2 Foundation qualified (essential) and PRINCE2 Practitioner qualified (essential) or equivalent substantial experience

You will be resilient, able to work under pressure and to deadlines whilst maintaining focus and managing risk.
