Your New Role

As a Senior Transport Planner, you will be responsible for the provision of expert advice on resolving complex parking issues and assisting with the delivery of the Council's Residents' Parking Programme.  You will engage and consult with members, community groups, residents and other stakeholders on parking and transport planning issues addressing varied and complex queries/issues raised.

What you'll need to succeed

A relevant degree level education OR demonstrable equivalent professional experience is essential as well as well-developed project delivery skills, including skills for coordination, liaison and the ability to plan and monitor project plans in order to achieve major projects on time and within budget together with experience of developing and implementing residents parking schemes;
