Salary - £16,788 per annum, (pro rata - £8,609)

Job type/hours - 20 hours per week  (Mon to Friday with flexibility)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Human Resources Administrator at a charity based in Portsmouth.  The Roberts Centre enjoys a reputation for its work with families and children and has achieved national recognition for its high quality services in the areas of Homelessness, Parenting and Childcare. 

The HR Administrator will provide day to day HR administrative support by dealing with a wide range of HR related queries. You will administer HR associated documentation, such as offer letters, contracts of employment, leavers and training and development information.  Some of the main roles will be to assist in the recruitment process – i.e. by issuing relevant job application packs and setting up interviews and distributing relevant correspondence and assisting with the recruitment and retention of Volunteers.

As the HR Administrator, you will be expected to have:

-       strong administration skills

-       excellent IT skills

-       a high level of confidentiality

-       the ability to work accurately, with attention to detail

-       excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-       passion for customer service

-       the flexibility and willingness to learn

-       tact and diplomacy

Successful applicants will be required to provide an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Disclosure (DBS) disclosure. Disclosure expense will be met by The Roberts Centre.
