Todos Teatro brings its Turtle's Don't Like Plastic show and workshop to Hotwalls Studios' Round Tower.

The Show

Following a mysterious storm, a turtle finds herself trapped on a strange island made of plastic that's forever growing. Can she escape? Can she clean up the Island? And who is the strange monster that lives there? She's determined to find out!

Physical theatre, puppetry and clowning combine in this magical under the sea adventure for ages 3+ and their families.

This show is inspired by the Pacific trash vortex; a vast patch of plastic pollution in the north Pacific and the devastating impact of plastic marine life.

Doors open at 11am. Shows run from 11.15am - 12pm Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June.

The Workshop

If you've already enjoyed Todos Teatro's show Turtle's Don't Like Plastic, this workshop will complement the world and themes of the piece. If you haven't, not to worry! This fun workshop is a perfect stand-alone experience.

In this immersive craft and drama workshop, children will use recycled materials to make their own sea creature puppet and learn how to bring it to life.

As a group they'll use their puppets to create a magical underwater scene - with energetic games offering lots of movement that will spark their imagination and creativity.

Parents and carers can leave children for the duration of the workshop. Please note one adult may accompany each child free of charge if they wish.

Workshops run 1pm - 3pm Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June.
