Cheer on the runners as the Great South Run comes to Portsmouth on 22 October. The 10 mile running event takes them through the iconic sights of Southsea and Portsmouth and finishes on the seafront. There are also a number of other races taking part across the weekend for all ages and abilities.
You may catch a glimpse of celebrity attendees including Dame Kelly Holmes.
Portsmouth City Council is running a special Park & Ride service for runners and spectators going directly to and from Clarence Pier.
This event service will run frequently from 7am to 9am from the multi-storey car park at Portsmouth International Port taking runners and spectators directly to Clarence Pier - a short walk from the start line. Return buses will be waiting to depart from Clarence Pier from 12.15pm and will run until 3.30pm.
At just £4 per vehicle with up to five passengers, the service provides a hassle-free and cheap way to travel to the race.
