Following its huge success over the past two years, the Portsmouth Seafood Festival returns to Gunwharf Quays this summer!
Celebrating mouth watering seafood from around the world, this year's event is a real celebration of seafood, the local fishing community and all associated with it. The free, weekend-long event runs for an extra day this year, so guests have an extra day to experience the Solent’s finest cuisine and see local seafood chefs in action. The Fisherman's Kitchen & Southsea Beach Cafe will also make a welcome return, to serve up tasty local produce.
On top of all this deliciousness, there will be fantastic performances from some of Portsmouth's jazz and swing musical talent, as well as amazing vendors and attractions, such as champagne bars, craft beers from Brewhouse & Kitchen Southsea, a brand new gin experience from Scotland and a returning favourite from last year's event, Pirate's Grog Rum. Plus, get the whole family involved with the Education & Awareness Experience, which offers children and adults the chance to interact with professionals from the seafood industry, including headline sponsors Seafish, The Fishmongers Company London & Native Oysters UK.
The festival is free, and takes place in Gunwharf Quays. It runs from Friday 28 June to Sunday 30 June.
