Explore the darker corners of the imagination with more than 30 events across Portsmouth, Southsea and beyond.

Join this creative celebration of the weird, sinister and supernatural. All events are open to the public, and many are completely free to attend.

Transnational Horror Cinema
23 October, 6PM at Eldon Building
The first in a series of free public talks by horror specialists from the UoP Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries.

The Cauldron of Darkness
1 November, 7pm at Southsea Castle
Stories, immersive theatre, music – be transported to dastardly times courtesy of T’Articulation’s cauldron of dark tales.

Delirium, Dreams and Nightmares
3 November, 7.30pmm at The Loft, Albert Road
Short films, live scores, spoken word & music, all telling tales of gothic horror & supernatural terror.

A Literary Mystery
9 November at 6pm, Park Building
Explore the University of Portsmouth’s oldest building, meet Dickens, Wells & Conan Doyle, and solve clues exposing a dark mystery.

Dark Songs
11 November, 6pm at The Square Tower
From the ethereal to the melodramatic, savour sinuous songwriting from Pompey’s crazy creatives.
