Salary - Band 4 £17,403 – £18,413 pro rata (actual salary £15,026 - £16,598) depending on experience

The Harbour School @ Tipner is looking to appoint the following position on a fixed term basis September 2018 until August 2019.
37 hrs per week Term Time Only (TTO - 39 weeks a year)
We are looking for an enthusiastic, robust and resilient individual who is committed to improving outcomes for learners with complex SEMH needs (social, emotional and mental health needs) from across the city. The Harbour School holds social and emotional development at its core.
The Harbour School @ Tipner provides a supportive and friendly team ethos.
The focus of the post will be to work with class teachers to support the progress of Key Stage 2 and 3 learners in their academic, social and emotional development.
We are looking for an individual who is able to offer a flexible and nurturing approach to learners @ Tipner, who can demonstrate an understanding SEMH needs and is trauma aware. Excellent de-escalation skills are essential along with a commitment to improving outcomes for learners with significant and complex SEMH needs.
