Salary - Grade F: £31,478 - £35,429 FTE

An opportunity has arisen for a Student Progress Manager to join the Portsmouth Academy. The principle responsibilities of this post are to:
- Manage the Academy's data management systems and to oversee the preparation of accurate and timely data analysis reports for the Academy's stakeholders.
- Be responsible for the administration and organisation of all aspects of external and internal examinations.
- Oversee day to day timetable changes (scheduling and rooming)
- Ensure the school meets the statutory requirements as an examinations centre and be the designated Examinations Officer.
The right candidate for the role will have good knowledge and experience of data management and producing reports from stored data. A working knowledge of the SIMS system is essential.
Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to work to tight deadlines in a busy school environment whilst maintaining a good sense of humour. The suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate that they can work as both part of a team and independently.
