We have a vacancy for a temporary Learning Support Assistant who has a passion for working with pupils with special educational needs. 

Our pupils are aged 2 – 19 years with learning, communication and complex health needs ranging from severe to profound and multiple. The successful applicant will be required to work across the breadth of our school. 


Ideally you will have some experience of SEND in a learning environment but this is not essential if you show a strong desire to work with our young people.  We welcome applications for these vacancies from people with or without experience, or suitably qualified professionals who are passionate about working with children with special educational needs and disabilities.

Our 30 core hours of work are 8:45am to 3:15pm Monday to Friday with half an hour lunch break.  As we are a school, you will be required to take all annual leave during school holidays. Integral to your own professional development and as part of your core working weeks you will be required to attend some after school meetings with other occasions such as twilight training. 

The salary range is Grade B or C depending on your qualifications and experience.  Hourly rate £8.76 to £9.74 Actual Salary range £12,024 £13,368 for 30 hours per week term time only.
