Job type/hours - 20 hours per week Monday - Friday - Temporary for 9 months

Corporate policy and community safety section

Based in the Town Hall in Gosport, you will work in a busy and friendly environment providing customer and administrative support, often dealing with sensitive and confidential information, for the Corporate Policy and Community Safety Team. Duties will include dealing with service enquiries, organising meetings and minute taking, updating and checking databases, processing documents, supporting delivery of events and campaigns, updating websites, providing office cover and other general administrative tasks.

Your organisational and interpersonal skills will therefore be important. You must be able to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurately spoken English.

You will need good literacy and numeracy and have the ability to use computer based technology with good typing and keyboard skills including experience of Excel and Powerpoint.
