Are you looking to put your financial management skills and experience to good use and make a lasting difference to a cause you care about? SDAS is an innovative and unique provider of all services to those affected by domestic abuse

We are looking for an experienced, professional and highly motivated Finance Manager to join our growing organisation

We have a great opportunity to join a thriving local domestic abuse charity to provide high quality financial management support to the CEO and Trustee Board, enabling them to make informed financial decisions.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of financial management in the charity or not for profit sector
  • Preparation of end of year accounts including liaising with auditors
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
    • Ideally have experience of grant funding or bid writing.
    • The ability to communicate financial reports to non-financial people is also required.

We are ambitious for our future, seeking to deliver the best possible services and empower all our clients to live lives free from domestic abuse. We want to attract and recruit people who share our values and our commitment to deliver quality services.

In return we offer a generous annual leave entitlement rising with length of service, comprehensive training and development programme, pension scheme and employee assistance programme.  We can offer you a varied, interesting role in our busy and dynamic charity.

We particularly welcome applicants from BAMER communities that are currently under-represented in our organisation. Appointment will be on merit alone. We will recruit the first suitable applicants, so apply early as we may close earlier. An enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) disclosure will be required for this role.

Please contact Jo Eamey, Business Support and Development Manager on 02392 008329 for more information.
