Musical opportunities, support, training and music lessons in Portsmouth are coordinated through Portsmouth Music Hub, led by Portsmouth City Council's music service.

The award winning Portsmouth Music Hub is a dynamic network of organisations committed to building a secure foundation for music and music education in Portsmouth.

Instruments are available to hire from the music hub through Portsmouth schools. Instruments can be hired for private tuition and costs between  £40 - £50 per year to hire, depending on the teaching arrangements.
