Newly released time lapse footage shows the latest units at Portsmouth City Council's award winning business park rising from their foundations.

Watch the video here to see the brand new VW Breeze headquarters and a 38,000 sq ft warehouse taking shape at Dunsbury Park - the council's 45-acre business, industrial and distribution facility on junction 3 of the A3(M).

Cllr Ben Dowling, cabinet member for planning, regeneration and economic development, said: "We wanted to show in less than one minute how well work is progressing on these buildings and at Dunsbury Park in general.

"The VW Breeze unit will be completed before next year and we expect to have the other warehouse building finished next Spring.

"Dunsbury is becoming a vital asset and it will generate millions of pounds of income for council services and create thousands of local jobs so we're really pleased with how well the construction work is going."

Dunsbury Park is already home to the global headquarters of international clothing brand Fat Face.

The whole site is levelled and served by a custom built link road, a high voltage power supply, high speed broadband, gas and water and we've created conservation habitat areas to help preserve the rich wildlife the site has to offer.
