Todos Teatro brings its Turtle's Don't Like Plastic show and workshop to Hotwalls Studios  on 29 & 30 June.

Doors open at The Round Tower at 11am and the shows runs until 12pm. The show is inspired by the Pacific trash vortex; a vast patch of plastic pollution in the north Pacific and the devastating impact of plastic marine life.  Physical theatre, puppetry and clowning combine in this magical under the sea adventure for ages 3+ and their families.

There's also a workshop to complement the theatre show which enables children to use recycled materials to make their own sea creature puppet and learn how to bring it to life - perfect for children aged 4-7.

They'll use their puppets to create a magical underwater scene - with energetic games offering lots of movement that will spark their imagination and creativity.  Parents and carers can leave children for the duration of the workshop. Please note one adult may accompany each child free of charge if they wish.  Workshops run 1pm - 3pm Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June.

Cabinet Member Cllr Steve Pitt said: The Turtles Don’t Like Plastic show and workshop is a great way for children to learn about the harm plastics can do to the environment and what people can do to help by recycling more and using less plastics. I'm sure it will be a popular event."
