Information about changes to council services as a result of coronavirus

If you like food, want to try a variety of different tastes and enjoy a fun day out in the centre of Southsea, visit Southsea Food Festival this weekend from 10am - 5pm on Saturday 20 July and 10am - 5pm on Sunday 21 July 2019.

Now in its 13th year, the festival, which is organised by Portsmouth City Council, will be hosting over 40 food and drink stalls offering a range of tasty treats for you to eat there or take home.

In addition, the Love Southsea Food Market will be in the precinct on the Saturday and the Hampshire Farmers Market on the Sunday.

To add to the atmosphere the Wedgewood Rooms will be providing a soundtrack to the weekend on the acoustic stage.

The event takes place in Palmerston Road precinct, Clarendon Road, lower Palmerston Road and Osborne Road.  Some local road closures are in place throughout the weekend.

Councillor Steve Pitt, Cabinet Member for Culture and City Development, said: "The annual Southsea Food Festival is always a fantastic community event so please do come along for a taste of something different and help us celebrate over a decade of fine food in Southsea."
