Coronavirus: council service information and advice

Information about changes to council services as a result of coronavirus

As part of Portsmouth City Council's response to the climate emergency, it has supported the development of the new cross-agency Portsmouth Climate Action Board.

The board is driving the city's response to the climate emergency by providing a forum to coordinate climate action across the city.

Major employers such as the University of Portsmouth, NHS, Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth Football Club, alongside community groups such as Hive, Shaping Portsmouth and Friends of the Earth make up the board.

They are now looking for a member of the public to create a logo and supporting tagline that they will use in future. The submissions must communicate the board's objectives in a simple, emotionally engaging and inspiring way.

Portsmouth Climate Action Board said:

"We want someone who lives in Portsmouth to come up with the design: and will be promoting the competition in The Portsmouth News, on local art and design courses, and within our vibrant creative sector.

The winner's design will be featured across the city on Portsmouth Climate Action Board's communications, posters and presentations. The winner will not only gain exposure, they will also be given the opportunity to work with a professional design team to develop their entry."
