We’re calling on caring people to find out more about becoming a personal assistant or PA.

PAs get work through our online PA Noticeboard. If someone needs a person to help them with everyday life, they can post details of what they need. People looking for work can then apply for the job.

Charlotte found her PA Gina through the noticeboard. She said: “Since I’ve had a PA, I’ve grown in confidence. I’m more able to express myself with someone behind me. It’s a good way to meet new people and share experiences.”

The noticeboard team will be in cafés and community centres across the city in the next few weeks. There's no need to book, just come along for a cuppa and a chat about being a PA.
