Local Healthwatch champions the local, community voice of all service users and carers in health and social care services. It engages with communities to ensure the services being provided locally are what are needed. It also provides a one-stop shop for information and advice on local health and social care needs.
Healthwatch in Portsmouth has been developed in partnership between Portsmouth City Council, the University of Portsmouth and Learning Links (a local social enterprise). Healthwatch is looking for people to join and make sure the local voice is heard when important decisions about care and health are made.
You can sign up to become involved in shaping Healthwatch and how it is governed, or simply to stay up-to-date with changes happening locally. It’s up to you!
