Coronavirus: council service information and advice
Information about changes to council services as a result of coronavirus
We will always respect and work with our children and young people in care, ensuring their wishes and feelings are listened to and taken into account when making a foster placement.
We will always respect and work with our foster carers, to provide the best care we are able to, and the best support to our foster carers, and include you in all meetings that affect you and the children you care for.
Looked after children should be actively involved in their care, education and health planning, can be provided with an independent visitor and will have an independent reviewing officer. There is also the opportunity to join the Children in Care Council (CiCC - see below) to be able to directly influence foster care.
