Fratton Park is the home of Portsmouth Football Club (PFC). PFC is focused on redeveloping Fratton Park and the surrounding area to provide for their future long term needs.

To help PFC with its aims, the council has allocated Fratton Park the surrounding land for a new and improved football stadium with enhanced facilities within the Portsmouth Plan (Policy PCS6).

Previous plans for 'Pompey Village' scheme - 2004

In November 2004 the city council approved a planning application to develop a new stadium for Portsmouth Football Club (PFC) at Fratton Park, surrounded by approximately 500 new homes at 'Pompey Village'.  Below are some of the documents from the 2004 planning application, from which most of the graphics and plans have been removed to make them easier to download.  The plans and artists impressions of the 2004 planning application can be viewed by clicking the link below.

Due to the time that has passed, the 2004 planning permission can no longer be built. Any new proposals to redevelop Fratton Park will require a new planning application.
