Complete the Seafront Masterplan Review survey

Our Planning Service is currently consulting residents, businesses, and stakeholders on the Seafront Masterplan Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) Review.

When written, the updated SPD will contain:

  • A framework for the development and protection of land, which will identify how the area could change in the future
  • Opportunity Areas - land we identify as opportunity areas for new development or for the re-development of existing buildings, together with enhancements to the public realm.

We are at the early stages in preparing the Seafront Masterplan SPD Review. The consultation document sets out what the current SPD says and asks your views on how you see the area in the future.

The consultation closes at the end of office hours on Monday 27 August 2018. Because this consultation is running over the months of July and August, we have extended the time people have to respond. We are publishing this document for 8 weeks for comments.

How to respond

We have an online survey which you can access here.

However, we have also prepared a comment form which can be downloaded or collected from the Civic Offices, libraries, and community centres, and returned by post, email or handed in at the Civic Offices.

You can email us your comments to SeafrontMasterPlan@portsmouthcc.gov.uk or post them to The Planning Service, City Development, Floor 5 Core 3-4, Civic Offices, PO1 2AU

For queries on the consultation, the contact number is 023 9268 8156 or email: SeafrontMasterPlan@portsmouthcc.gov.uk
