The Portsmouth Lottery funding panel are able to make awards up to £1,000 for community & voluntary organisations from the Lottery Summer Grants Scheme

This funding scheme will support projects that run over the School Summer Holiday period (24 July - 3 September).

The grants scheme will provide funding to allow children and young people (0-19) who might not otherwise be able to afford to attend, to be able to access summer holiday clubs, play schemes, trips and outings etc. which are being organised by Voluntary and Community Groups in the city. Funding of up to £1,000 should be used to provide bursaries/free places for children and young people.

If your organisation is providing a holiday scheme which is linked to tackling food poverty amongst children and young people, and no charge is made to those attending, organisers can apply for up to £1,000 towards the running costs of their scheme.

The closing date for applications is Friday 21 June.

To apply, please download and complete the application form (below) then email to portsmouthlottery@portsmouthcc.gov.uk, or print it out and post to The Portsmouth Lottery, Voluntary Sector Support Officer, Floor 3, Core 2/3 - Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, Portsmouth, Hants PO1 2AL - before each of the panel deadlines in order to be considered at the next panel meeting.

The deadline to receive applications for our next funding panel is 21 June 2019 by 5pm.
