The south’s biggest professional development and recruitment event for social workers returns – now in its fourth year. Portsmouth City Council will be attending the Social Work in the South event as an exhibitor on Thursday 23 September at The Ark Conference Centre in Basingstoke (doors will open to the public at 8am).
Meet social workers from the waterfront city and learn about innovative, restorative social work from those who live and breathe it. Discover more about Stronger Futures which offers an introduction to our ethos, ways of working and how we support and train our social workers.
The event is organised by Hampshire County Council, in partnership with Community Care. Enjoy a programme of informative lectures as well as sessions that inspire. Social Work in the South is the perfect opportunity to network with colleagues and share best practice in a sector that’s rewarding.
