Join Teach Portsmouth at Portsmouth Central Library (third floor) on Tuesday 28 February from 10am – 2pm.
Hear from those in the role as they share their experiences of working in the classroom. Head teachers will also provide some insight into what they are looking for from applicants.
The Learning Place and City of Portsmouth College will be on hand to help those who need a level 2 qualification in English or maths as well as offering advice on apprenticeships. Those in attendance can also browse current learning support vacancies from the Portsmouth City Council website.
There are two sessions (10am – 11:45am) and (12pm – 2pm) with short and snappy presentations where you can learn more about becoming a teaching assistant.
