Tamworth Field is open at all times. You can get to the site via Tamworth Road or Walsall Road.
Tamworth Field is a 30,500 square metres (3.05 hectares) grassed open space. Its community amenities include:
- five-a-side football goals and one full size goal
- play area including an accessible roundabout
Roughly a quarter of the site is set aside to have a wilder aspect, this includes a wetland pond with a timber viewing platform. Historically, the land was marshland, and it still tends to become very wet in winter.
Not too long from now, we should be able to establish a small area of managed wet meadow on site which will help develop the local wildlife.
