South Hampshire Aerospace & Defence Networking Forum
Run by Invest in Portsmouth and the Farnborough Aerospace Consortium, this forum brings local businesses together to improve the competitiveness of the aerospace, defence, security and space sector in South Hampshire and to help build global partnerships.
The themed networking meetings are held twice a year, tackling topical issues and creating a channel for increased collaboration within the industry.
Space South Central
Space South Central is the UK’s largest regional space cluster. It’s a partnership between industry and academia, designed to accelerate space business growth, foster an innovative environment, grow the reputation of the south-central region and contribute to national prosperity.
It has more than 120 innovative and entrepreneurial companies delivering end-to-end capabilities, including Airbus, BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin, Spur Electron, Earth-I, In-Space Missions, KISPE, ICEYE, ViaSat, and SSTL.

Farnborough Aerospace Consortium (FAC)
Farnborough Aerospace Consortium is a business winning association with national and international members and partners. It’s one of UK’s largest and most established aerospace and defence associations, providing support to 1,200 companies in southern England. It helps business through improved technology, productivity and acquisition of skill and resource development.

Society of British Aerospace Companies (SBAC)
SBAC is the UK’s national trade association, representing companies supplying civil air transport, defence, homeland security and space sectors. It includes the British Aviation Group and UKspace, Farnborough International Limited. Together with its regional partners, SBAC represents over 2,600 companies.
Sustainable Aviation
Sustainable Aviation is a comprehensive strategy for the long term sustainability of the UK aviation industry. It brings together the UK’s leading airlines, airports, aerospace manufacturers and air navigation service providers. They’re committed to delivering significant reductions in carbon dioxide emissions, nitrogen oxide emissions and aircraft noise over the next 15 years.
