This half term (10-18 February) The D-Day Story has an exciting range of activities for families and adults to enjoy, with something on offer every day.
The museum is the place for craft activities, family trails and challenges, discovering silk escape maps, button compasses and coded documents.
Puzzles are waiting to be solved in the ‘Spies and Lies’ trail, where the mission is to work together to follow clues, crack codes, and complete challenges to find a hidden mystery object.
‘Spy school’, ‘Airfix Extravaganza’ model-making and ‘The Big Drop: make your own parachute’ offer enjoyable craft activities which can be taken home.
Cllr Steve Pitt, Leader of Portsmouth City Council, said:
“I really encourage people to come along to see what The D-Day Story has to offer, there are so many activities for an enjoyable day out with your family.”
All activities are included in the admission price, except for ‘Airfix Extravaganza’ which costs £2 per model. No need to book but events can be very popular, so visitors are advised to come early.
Leisure card holders receive 40% off full price tickets bought on the door.
