It’s called the PO6 Super Summer Party and will take place at Hillside and Wymering Centre, PO6 3PY on Saturday 2 September, 12-3pm.
We’re hoping to repeat the success of our previous community parties (see Party for The Warren and last year’s events) where 1000+ people and 40+ stallholders came together for some serious fun.
Those 40+ stalls included:
- musicians
- kids’ entertainment
- volunteer groups
- charities
- local services
And loads more – all of which people loved.
So, stallholders of all kinds are encouraged to get stuck in as this isn’t an opportunity to miss.
With lots of groups already signed up, engagement manager Tim Raw recommends getting in touch as soon as possible:
“If you want to reach over a thousand people, the PO6 Super Summer Party is the place to do it. But it’s only a month away and we want to include as many stallholders as possible.
Even if you’re not sure how to go about running a stall, get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
Registering interest is really easy – just pop your details in an email and we’ll contact you.
As always, everything is free and everyone is welcome, so come get involved!”
What’s the PO6 Super Summer Party for?
It’s got free ice-cream, snacks, live music, and entertainment. But really, it’s the perfect chance for Paulsgrove locals to have a blast whilst getting to know what’s happening in their community.
We’ll be there alongside staff from HAF and Health & Care Portsmouth to share what we’re up to. We’ll also share how we can help people in Paulsgrove, and to listen to everyone’s opinions.
We hope all of this will empower people to speak to us directly at the event, telling us what they want, need and think of the services we provide.
