Portsmouth Bookfest is an annual event that celebrates writing in all forms, including spoken word, running from Monday 13 February to Sunday 5 March. One week is dedicated to children and two weeks to adults.
Children and young people can have the help of experts in their field, like writer Shelagh Moore, local rappers Rishky, Majid, Politico and poet Lynne Stretch at events held at Central, Southsea and Cosham libraries.

Cllr Steve Pitt, Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure, and Economic Development said: “What an exciting lineup of events we have this Bookfest and with such talented people running them.
