The event pop-up market is the latest in a string of free festive events hosted by Portsmouth City Council this Christmas. Food and beverages will be available from the museum café.
Cllr Steve Pitt, Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure, and Economic Development said:
“The museum and market are both free to enter, so visitors can combine both for a great family day out. Lots of people will be feeling the pinch right now, so it’s great that Portsmouth City Council can put on a fantastic event like this, to help everyone get in the festive spirit and support our local traders.”
For other Christmas activities in the city, visit the Portsmouth Christmas Market (17 Nov – 24 Dec) in Commercial Road for festive treats such as German sausages and glühwein. Love Southsea Market (weekends in Dec) for glorious gift ideas from local makers and discover our brilliant independent shops and eateries for something special. Enjoy festive skating, whatever the weather at Portsmouth on Ice (26 Nov – 8 Jan) in Guildhall Square.
