Suggest a topic for scrutiny

Councillors want to hear from residents about council services they think need to be reviewed; or, as councillors call it, 'scrutinised'. These services could be anything from libraries to older persons services.

Topics that are chosen will be looked at in depth by a cross party panel of councillors. They will assess how the council is performing and see whether we are providing the best possible, cost effective service for people in the city.

The panel's findings will be reported to the Council's Executive and may result in changes to the way in which services are delivered.
