The Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership for Portsmouth has responsibility for aligning strategic agendas and driving partnership activity to deliver and support the Children’s agenda across Portsmouth. Key aims of the Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership

To provide strategic leadership to secure improved outcomes for Children and Young People.
To develop a strategic overview for the work of the Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership.
To be accountable for key inter-agency decisions that relate to children’s services
To promote and apply in practice agreed Children’s Trust ways of working
To negotiate and secure local political multi-agency support for the work of the Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership and the Children and Young People’s Plan
