Health & Social Wellbeing Partnership
Last updated: 31 October 2011 11:57The Health and Social Wellbeing Partnership Board brings together key players from health, local government, the voluntary sector and community sector to promote health and wellbeing of people in Portsmouth.
It is responsible for taking forward the Vision for Portsmouth priority to encourage and enable health choices for all to provide appropriate access to health care and support, as well as for a range of targets in the LAA relating to health and social wellbeing.
Key aims of the the partnership
- To oversee the implementation of the Vision for Portsmouth’s priority areas around health and social wellbeing
- To monitor and promote relevant contribution toward other themes within the Vision for Portsmouth as appropriate
- To oversee delivery against the relevant targets in the LAA 2008-2011
- To develop, where appropriate, further strategies to take forward the health and social wellbeing and other priorities of Portsmouth
