Lord Mayor's Banqueting Room

The Lord Mayor's Banqueting Room is part of the Lord Mayor’s Suite, situated on the second floor of the Portsmouth Guildhall.

Use of the Banqueting Room is in the gift of the Lord Mayor during their year of office. It is not generally available for use by groups other than those that are connected in some way to the Lord Mayor.

Bearing in mind the Lord Mayor’s own commitments and official Civic functions, it is not always possible to agree to outside requests for the use of the room. The Lord Mayor will usually grant a charity one such use during their year and if they are Honorary President for the particular organisation, two such uses.

There is a nominal hire charge of £100 for use by organisations other than the Lord Mayor's Charity Appeal.
