Healthwatch in Portsmouth

Local Healthwatch is the new organisation to champion the local, community voice of all service users and carers in health and social care services. It will engage with communities to ensure the services being provided locally are what are needed. It will also provide a one-stop shop for information and advice on local health and social care needs when it commences in April 2013.
Healthwatch in Portsmouth is currently being developed in partnership between Portsmouth City Council, the University of Portsmouth and Learning Links (a local social enterprise). Healthwatch and is looking for people to join and make sure the local voice is heard when important decisions about care and health are made.
You can sign up to become involved in shaping Healthwatch and how it is governed or simply to stay up to date with changes happening locally. It’s up to you!
