From ghosts and ghouls to skeletons and spiders, the Visitor Information Centre has lots of events and activities taking place on Friday 31 October to help all ages get into the mood for Halloween.
What would Halloween be without a good ghost story? Starting at 1.30pm, the story is principally for children but will be suitable for all ages. The story teller will be in costume and anybody that wishes to come along in costume may do so. The story will last approximately 15 minutes.
At 2.30pm, join the Ghost Walk for a memorable, though nerve-jangling, journey through Portsmouth’s oldest, eeriest and most haunted streets.
Taking place around the High Street in Old Portsmouth, the walk retells the tales of murder and mysteries that took place there from days gone by.
The walk costs £2.50 and will take about an hour. Everyone is welcome but children must be accompanied by an adult.
As well as the ghost story and walk, there will be Halloween colouring and word searches for children throughout the Half Term holiday at the Visitor Information Centre.
