Community safety conference

On 16 September the Safer Portsmouth Partnership is hosting a community safety conference to showcase good practice in tackling and preventing anti-social behaviour, which the council received the prestigious Beacon award for.

100 delegates from partner agencies and council staff, have been invited to attend the full-day event at the Holiday Inn in Pembroke Road, Southsea.

The conference will include various workshops and keynote speakers, as well as highlight successful projects and encourage group discussion and debates on current topics affecting all agencies, such as ‘What have you done to help reduce crime today?’
