Community First for Portsmouth (formerly known as Portsmouth Council of Community Services) is a local development agency that engages with the voluntary and community sectors of Portsmouth. Community First for Portsmouth provides a number of services including an Information Resource Centre and meeting facilities. Community First for Portsmouth is also an umbrella body for the Criminal Records Bureau. Community First for Portsmouth hosts a number of forums including the Portsmouth Information Network and the Volunteer Managers Forum along with facilitating a range of training courses for voluntary and community organisations.
Community projects based at Community First for Portsmouth include: Community Transport, Dial-a-Ride, Shopability and Harbourside Active Citizens Panel.
