Watchfire® Bobby is a web accessibility desktop testing tool designed to assist in the compliance of the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Bobby trawls through our website daily testing each individual page to see if it meets several accessibility requirements, including readability by screen readers, the provision of text equivalents for all images and the use of appropriate text when using hyperlinks.
We are concerned with the performance and accessibility of our website. To maintain quality assurance and good practice we have registered with SiteMorse who conduct a series of tests governed by using already established guidelines and standards and regulations for government websites. These tests are run on a weekly basis and SiteMorse produce ranking lead tables determined by the functionality, accessibility and compliance of our website tested within a given period.
