Freedom of the City for Portsmouth Football Club FA Cup winning squad
At a special meeting today (Thursday 31 July) Portsmouth City Council unanimously agreed to grant the Freedom of the City to Harry Redknapp and the Portsmouth Football Club 2008 FA Cup winning squad.
Arrangements will now be made for the formal presentation to take place at a later date.
The special meeting was required under Section 249 of the Local Government Act 1972.
