Golf lessons at great prices for young people

Golf lessons for young people aged 8-17 are on offer at Portsmouth Golf Centre on Burrfields Road, Portsmouth this summer.

Lessons take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of each week between 10am and 11am or 11am and 12pm. 

Young people are being offered the chance to have three one hour lessons on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at either 10am or 11am at a cost of just £6.  Lessons take place in small groups of between five and 10 which enables young people to have plenty of individual attention from their instructor.

Kim Longbon, sports development officer said: "Thanks to a partnership between the Golf Foundation, Portsmouth Golf Centre and the city council, we are able to offer these lessons at a highly discounted rate.  Portsmouth Golf Centre is very keen to get young people involved in the sport and this is a fantastic opportunity for those who are interested."
