Stuck for things to do with the kids this summer?
The city council has worked with a range of organisations across Portsmouth to produce a free Summer Activities Guide packed full of great ideas for amusing the family during the holidays.
With lots of information about days out and things to do for children from 0 to19, the Guide aims to help parents find out what's on offer to keep boredom at bay.
35,000 copies of the 52 full - colour page Guide are being distributed. Copies will be available from next week in a variety of locations including schools, libraries, community centres, nurseries, children's centres, health visitors and GP surgeries.
Copies are also available to download at http://www.portsmouth.gov.uk/living/13584.html
Mike Newman from the city council's family information service said: "This year we worked with a range of partners to put together a comprehensive guide of things to do in the summer holidays. This means that parents and carers have information in one high quality publication, which they can use to help them through the summer holidays."
