Head of the Museums Service Jane Mee said:”We need to improve our understanding of who our current visitors are so that we can improve our services and increase the number of customers.

“We want to cater for existing visitors as well as attracting new ones, and I see frontline staff playing a key role in finding out more about who our customers are.”

AMH (Audiences Marketing Hampshire) will be training the staff on 11 July at the City Museum, covering areas such as what information needs to be collected, and how it can be used to improve services.
