The city council is asking people in Portsmouth if they have any burning issues about portable BBQs being used on Southsea Common, in a survey taking place this month.
The survey aims to find out more about how people use their BBQs, including methods for disposing of the hot coals and any improvements they would like to see in the facilities available.
As well as carrying out face to face surveys on the Common and Southsea seafront, there will be survey points set up (with drop boxes) at some of the council's seafront offices, including the Visitor Information Centre in Southsea.
Ben Wright from the city council said: "We aim to get feedback from users of the common and seafront, both people who use BBQs and those who don't. It's an important issue and we would like views from as many people as possible"
Seafront BBQ surveys are available at the following sites until Friday 20 June:
There will also be surveys at the Bandstand on Sunday 15 June and Sunday 22 June.
