Information if you live in a block of flats

“I live in a flat – has my collection day changed?”
The changes have only affected residents if they have to put out their rubbish or recycling at their front boundary (or agreed alternative place) for collection on a specific day. If you share large rubbish or recycling bins with your neighbours, and the bins are kept in a shared waste storage area, you should carry on doing what you did before. The refuse and recycling will be collected as it is now, but perhaps on a different day.
“I live in a flat but I put out my rubbish at the front boundary for collection – has my collection day changing?”
Yes - It’s likely that the collection day has changed. If you haven’t received information, you can look up your collection day or contact the city helpdesk on 023 9283 4092 for advice.
“I live in a flat and have a communal recycling/rubbish bin; I thought the collection day wasn’t changing but the crew have not come today. Has my collection day changed after all?”
In a few cases the collection day for some communal recycling/rubbish bins has had to change. This won’t affect the service – there will still be the same number of collections, just on a different day. Rubbish / recycling should be put in the communal bin as usual.
