Local recycling points around the city
Last updated: 10 April 2012 14:54 UKThere are currently over 50 conveniently placed recycling points around the city where you can recycle items that cannot be collected for recycling from your home.
These include:
- Any colour glass bottles and jars
- Any old clothes, textiles and shoes
- Books, DVDs / Videos, CDs / Tapes

Please note:
- only use the glass banks between 8am and 8pm
- take your bags and boxes home with your after emptying
- if the bank you want to use is full please don’t leave items on the pavement. Take your items home with you and try again later or use another bank
- to report a collection bank being full or vandalised, please call our city helpdesk on 9283 4092
